We all travel the milky way together, trees and men...
La natualeza siempre gana la batalla. Siempre.
Nature will always win the battle. Always.
I never saw a discontented tree. They grip the ground as though they liked it, and though fast rooted they travel about as far as we do. They go wandering forth in all directions with every wind, going and coming like ourselves, traveling with us around the sun two million miles a day, and through space heaven knows how fast and far! ~John Muir
Angkor temples are lost within the jungle, there we could feel the power of a great empire now gone. The stone dresses different colours and shapes. The faces carved in the rock had eyes that followed our every move. History says that in the 12th century, at the hight of this civilization, there were more than 1 million people living in Angkor Thom, when London boasted a population of only 50.000... The bass reliefs and the architectural harmony helped us forget the 40º heat....

Wat Pho, Bangkok
The Reclining Buddha from Bangkok, at Wat Pho temple. More than 200 years old. Made out of pure gold. One awaits Nirvana very peacefully in this manner...
Bangkok, Tailandia
¡¡La gente sonríe!! Hemos vuelto a respirar tranquilos. "Pedazo edificio, ¿no?"
People are smiling! At last we can breathe in deeply. A very modern Air India flight brought us to this even more modern city. After almost 7 months, we walked down the streets just like kids: "Look, a traffic light!" "The cars are stopping at the zebra crossing!" "Where do they hide the rubbish and the electricity cables?" "Look at that tall building...". Bangkok is a cosmopolitan and growing city, its been a nice surprise after so long. The inconveniences in a city like Kathmandu disappeared when people smiled. In India, nobody smiles so everything is incovenient. If Bangkok is the heart of Thailand, then we like Thailand! Here people are smiling again!!
No rupie, no taxi, no nothing
Goodbye India, goodbye New Delhi, goodbye to the smell of wee, goodbye to the tuk-tuk drivers that we really don't need. Goodbye to curry, to saris, to tea and to the three weeks we spent in this big and complicated country.
We're sorry to be happy to have left! But here in India nobody likes tourists... and for us tourist, we don't want to be where we are not wanted! Maybe on eday there will be a second chance...
